Fun little downtown place perfect for lunch. Very friendly owner and staff. So nice to our little grandkiddos. Not your typical Cuban sandwich but superb.

Best Cuban I have had in a long time. Get the Caliente Cuban. Best with a little kick.

Try the Café con Leche with coconut. It pairs nicely with ice cream. Drago the owner is super friendly and makes people feel welcome in his shop.

Excellent authentic Cuban food. Owner is present which makes all the different. Highly recommend.

WOW WOW WOW. I'm so glad we stopped into this amazing gem of a restaurant. The owner, Fernando, goes completely out of his way to ensure your experience is over the top. Everything I've had at this place has set the standard by which all others are judged. His menu says, "best Cuban in Bradenton" but it's by FAR the best in the Tampa Bay area! The pork is phenomenal and he doesn't kill the sandwich by pressing it two tons. The steak is also cooked perfectly, seasoned appropriately, and TENDER. You are missing out on the best things in life if you do not go here.

Great place with an owner who aims to make you happy with his food. We have been there twice and enjoyed both meals. The owner will customize your meal to what you want all you have to do is ask. Also, if he recommends something please try it because he is usually right.

Visited 4/20/2017 By far one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. The food is amazing. The service and the way my family and I were treated was on a whole different level. When the people in the area find out how amazing Dragos is, the line will be out the door!!!!

So before today I thought Cuban food was just meh. Nothing special or outstanding about it. Well this guy introduces himself and is just the warmest friendliest personality!! We all loved him, then came the sample of his pork and rice. We all changed our orders to sandwiches and pork n beans plates! By and far the most special pork I’ve ever had. Keep it up man this is the sandwhich of the year!!!

Food was good but it wasn't as advertised. Three of us ordered the same dish they all looked different. The service was understaffed but the waitress did a good job keeping up. We were just driving through and stopped here because of the high rating on Google. I don't think the high rating was deserved.

This is more than food, it's an experience. When you walk in the door you're not a customers, you're family.

What a great find! Ice cream was amazing, coffee was perfect, but the owner is what really puts this shop above all others. I didn't catch his name, but the gracious, kind, excellent service he gave with joy and pleasure. Thanks for the hi light of our day, keep up the great work! And, I've never had such an amazing affogatto-creamy ice cream topped with velvety rich espresso. Wow.

Place should have 10 Stars! Delicious food. Wonderful atmosphere. excellent to go packaging. If you tell him you want it to go he will make sure that the food is packaged so its fresh when you get home. This is not your run-of-the-mill restaurant. Everything is custom-made, handmade, with care. If you are looking for a unique experience, come to Drago's.

A great place to stop and grab a bite. Either a Cuban or a Cuban street taco. Come for the lunch and leave with dessert. Don't forget to grab a cup of coffee. The owner will send ya all the way to Cuba with his charm.

Not your grandma ‘s pressed 🇨🇺. But I bet she would be happy to try Drago’s. Great pork that is flavorful and juicy but not pressed. Ask for the spicy aoli. Great coffee. Especially cafecitto and cafe con leche. Friendly service. Drago is always welcoming and friendly. Just open for lunch and afternoon coffee ☕️. Need to come back and try the rice and beans.

Excellent homemade food! I've gone several times after I discovered the place on accident. The owner is really nice and cooks everything very well. Definitely recommend this to anyone that's looking for a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere while you eat.

I have to say, this is the most friendly place in all of Bradenton. The owner and the staff practice kindness. The Cuban coffee was amazing and the Cuban sandwich wad the best I've ever had. We got a cake on the house and it beat my expectations as well. It was a little on the pricey side, but well worth the price.

The owner interacts with his customers. He is a very happy, lively, upbeat conversationalist. His people skills are excellent to say the least! :-) The food at Drago's is great and I recommend anyone wanting Cuban food to visit this restaurant.

The Cuban sandwich is amazing with juicy pulled pork and thin sliced ham. The owner greeted me with a big smile and welcome, and also offered free drinks to compliment the sandwiches. There aren't enough stand-out businesses like this one around. Thanks! Keep up the good work!

An absolutely AMAZING lunch there today! Cuban was outstanding the way they make it. Owner introduces himself, and tells you that your now family and home. Personal attention and great food! Your making a mistake if you dont stop here!

We walked in the back door to check them out. The owner and baker made us feel tight at home. Great luscious food. The flourless chocolate cake was out of this world, so was the coconut cake. We will definitely go back for lunch one day. His special sauce was scrumptious. Just can't say enough about the place. You have to go!

The owner makes this place what it is. He's energetic and extremely happy individuals. The food is awesome. But the atmosphere is beyond this world.

Happened to find Drago's by searching for a unique place to have lunch in the area on Google Maps. We hit pay dirt!Cuban sandwich was outstanding! Pork was incredibly juicy. Their au jus had a tasty twang to it. Drago greets all the guests, which adds a nice personal touch. The only thing that struck us as odd: the server apologized for not having any menus! He recited much of what they offered, which was cool, but no menus in the joint? Weird! We'd definitely go again, and highly recommend it. Even without menus! 😁

Awesome people. Friendly, generous, and homely. Cubans are amazing and espresso is fantastic. Oh and don't forget the salted caramel shake or ice cream!

Great stop!! Stopped by for a late lunch, visiting from Pearland,Tx(Houston). Had a “Miami”, great sandwich that matches the owners Hospitality. I felt very welcomed & our group of 9 enjoyed every bite of the food. We also had a Vegan that really enjoyed her Veggie Bowl. Definitely a must stop if you’re in Bradenton or just stopping by.

Let me start by saying this was simply the BEST Cuban Sandwich I ever had. It was full of meat and the meat was juicy and delicious. Sooooooo good makes my mouth water when I think of it. Not only that, but the staff and owner were extremely nice. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and when hearing we were on our way to visit my mother in the hospital down the road gave us a free slice of cake to take with us to give to her. She loved it and was so thankful. We will be going there again and will tell everyone we know to visit this restaraunt for it's great food and amazing hospitality.

I stopped in for lunch while in Bradenton and wasn't disappointed. It was a busy place with a lot of carry out. Dining space is limited. I sat at the bar and chatted with the owner. Said his biggest problem is finding and keeping reliable help. The sandwich I had was great and I thought the value was excellent. I recommend it and would go agin.

Visited Drago's cafe with my team. Drago is very interactive and friendly guy. He try to attend each and every customer which impressed me a lot. They have many coffee options available, I tried Affogato and I loved it. All my team members tried one or the other coffee and everyone enjoyed. It's a good place for lunch as well. I loved the coffee as well as this place and would definitely recommend to others.

I never usually write reviews, but I love this place. I usually get a vanilla latte at most places but here they have a cafe con leche which is spectacular! And to top it off Drago is a very vibrant and kind owner who will definitely make you laugh! I highly recommend giving this wonderful place a try!

Cuban sandwich and mango slaw was phenomenal. the owner and employees truly seem to love what they're doing, which made the experience top notch.

Awesome place. The owner, Drago, is incredibly friendly and always stops by our table to say hi. Coffee is simply wonderful (I recommend the Manhattan express if you want to try something different). The food is absolutely incredible. Everything is packed with flavor. We’ve never had a meal that we weren’t floored by. Since discovering this place, we eat here 2-3 times a week.

Awesome food and staff. If you are looking for your run of the mill Cuban restaurant, don't go here. No Gas Station Cuban sandwich here. What this guy does is take traditional Cuban ingredients and flavors, and combines them into new and unique sandwiches and dishes. Go expecting nothing more than some awesome tastes

Not bad. Sandwich was way to greasy but the roasted pork on the Cuban was amazing!

This visit was a return visit after a great first experience. We were not disappointed this time around either! Fernando Drago, the owner, remembered us from a few months ago and again treated us, and all the other costumers, as family. Cuban sandwiches were incredibly delicious and his meatballs are to die for! Locally made, quality ingredient ice cream to top it off, we will return to see Fernando every time we are in town!!
